The nominee of the Democratic Party in 2012 will win the election for the presidency of the United States held in 2012. This claim will be judged after the vote of the Electoral College is certified by Congress. In the event the US Constitution is amended so the Electoral College is no longer used, the judge may use a similar definitive statement on the part of the US government announcing who the President Elect is.
